Plumber in Anthem, Arizona

Anthem is our home base, so we know it cold. It's a master-planned community built largely from 1999 on, split between Country Club and Parkside. The homes are newer, sure, but two decades of 16 to 20 gpg hard water has already started scaling the water heaters and fixtures in the original builds. We'll show you the real problem and your options, then fix it right the first time. Fair pricing, no surprises.

Common plumbing issues in Anthem

  • Original 1999–2005 water heaters now well past their hard-water lifespan
  • Heavy scale on fixtures and tankless units without softeners
  • Builder-grade shut-off valves seizing from mineral buildup

Plumbing in Anthem

Anthem is Liberty Plumbing's home turf, and it shows in what we service here. The community broke ground in 1999 as a Del Webb master-planned development, which means the original-build homes in Country Club, Parkside, and the Anthem Hills areas are now 25+ years old. That puts the factory-installed 40- and 50-gallon water heaters well past their 10-12 year design life, and we replace failed original units almost weekly. Anthem runs on hardness routinely in the 16-20 grain range, which scales the tank bottom, clogs the cold inlet, and shortens heater life on top of age.

Nearly every Anthem home is slab-on-grade with the supply lines run under the slab, so a pinhole leak in aging copper means a slab leak, not a simple wall repair. We see this most in the older Country Club section near Daisy Mountain Drive. Hard water is the through-line on almost every Anthem call: scale-locked angle stops that won't turn, crusted aerators and showerheads, softener resin that's worn out after a decade, and reverse-osmosis units choked by mineral load. Being based right here means we're usually on-site in Anthem faster than crews driving up from the valley.

Plumbing in Anthem, FAQ

How fast can Liberty get to my Anthem home?
Anthem is our home base, so we're usually the fastest option in the community. For routine work we typically reach Country Club, Parkside, and Anthem Hills addresses same-day, and we put emergencies like slab leaks and burst water heaters first, because we're not driving up I-17 from the valley to get to you.
My Anthem home is original-build from 2000 and the water heater still works. Should I worry?
Yes. The original Del Webb-era heaters are now well past their 10-12 year life, and Anthem's 16-20 grain hard water speeds up tank failure with scale buildup. A unit that still runs can fail all at once and flood a slab-on-grade home. We recommend replacing it proactively, before it lets go on its own.
Why does my Anthem water leave so much white scale?
Anthem's municipal water runs 16-20 grains of hardness, which is very hard. That mineral load crusts aerators, showerheads, and glass, and over time it scales the inside of water heaters and seizes angle stops. A properly sized softener and periodic fixture service are the real fixes, and we handle both.

I can’t say enough great things about Liberty Plumbing and Solar. We’ve sought out other plumbing companies since residing in Anthem nearly 18 years ago and nothing compares to the integrity of Liberty Plumbing. They have been our preferred plumbing service and repair for over 3 years and we highly recommend you contacting them for your next plumbing needs. To have their technician, Alonso, go out of his way to help me locate all of the parts needed for our repair and upgrade of fixtures to our bathroom is exceptional customer service. From scrolling through Amazon to meeting me at Home Depot, above and beyond! Thank you Alonso!! Thank you for being a part of our community, Tom Ford and team!! Tracy and Gary Telesco

I had them locate the clean outs for sewer lines located in front of our home in Anthem. They showed up on time, looked very professional and in fact were very professional. The young plumber moved with speed and efficiency. It took several tries but he didn’t give up and finally found them. I would highly recommend this company. It’s obvious to me that they want to be a great company and will do what it takes. RS.
